Job Title:     Accounts Payable/Account Receivable Clerk/General Admin

Summary: Responsible for performing all clerical functions related to accounts receivable and payable, and maintain related files and records by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 Performs various clerical accounting functions to include:

  • data entering accounting information
  • typing
  • filing
  • photocopying

 Processes all accounts payable and receivable information in an accurate and timely manner.

Maintains all accounting files by updating, purging and filing on a daily basis.

Initiates appropriate collection activity through telephone contact, correspondence and collection agency efforts.

Prints and prepares invoices and checks for mailing on a weekly basis.

Prepares accounts receivable aging and cash requirement reports, reviews and updates as needed.

Creates and maintains proper response letters on computer for various incoming correspondence.

Performs other administration and related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.  Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.  Must know Quickbooks.  Prior accounting experience a must.
