Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an analyst who will support this function for the regional CorpSec operation in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) and be responsible for working closely with the lead regional security analyst in conducting research and analysis, while assisting the travel security and crisis management programs.

The position:

  • Function as a subject matter expert on current and emerging geopolitical security risks in APAC
  • Track, assess and provide impactful findings on the variety of geopolitical risks affecting company’s APAC
  • Produce quality written products and deliver professional briefings to internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Help to identify, collect and report relevant metrics for the APAC region
  • Engage CorpSec APAC stakeholders to identify intelligence gaps and develop innovative solutions to close these gaps
  • Identify analytical techniques, technology and/or software-based solutions to enhance analytical rigour and efficiency
  • Collaborate and manage intelligence vendors
  • Develop procedures to standardize and enhance intelligence production
  • Conducting forecasting and “over the horizon” risk analysis
  • Design, develop and execute risk intelligence projects

Occasional Duties:

  • Assist the development of the Regional Operations Center APAC (ROC APAC) to monitor and detect geopolitical risks;
  • Liaise with public and private sector partners on risk intelligence issues
  • Attend training sessions, meetings and conferences, as required
  • Assist in all aspects of end-to-end security support for company at internal and external events, as necessary

The candidate:

  • 2+ years of analytical and/or work experience in corporate risk intelligence, policy think tanks, government and related sectors
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in International Relations, International Security, Politics, Business, Economics, Criminology, Sociology, or related fields; advanced degrees welcome
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Data and project management skills welcome
  • Willingness to travel on short notice, in support of CorpSec operations and initiatives
  • Possession of a valid passport with no travel restrictions


  • In-depth understanding of the APAC region and the security challenges therein
  • Knowledge of open source information (OSINF) exploitation
  • Ability to synthesize complex information from various sources
  • Competence to identify and bridge intelligence gaps
  • Strong analytical writing and oral briefing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work amidst a geographically dispersed team from varying backgrounds and cultures
  • Capacity for building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute daily duties with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work in an open, transparent, and collaborative corporate culture and effectively balance security with company values
