B2B Customer Marketing Specialist

As a Marketing Specialist on the B2B Customer Marketing team, you will develop and manage a variety of marketing campaigns designed to delight, engage, and help clients achieve success with Penn Foster. Your mission is to build a community of brand advocates, identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and support Penn Foster?s delivery of an excellent customer experience.
Essential Job Functions:
Create, distribute, and report on customer communications including cross-sell and upsell campaigns, onboarding and ongoing nurture campaigns, client newsletters, product updates
Develop content to enable clients in driving learner demand and awareness for their Penn Foster programs, including sales sheets, social content, and email templates; Consult with Penn Foster clients on how to best leverage this content to market their programs
Develop best practice resources, training videos, webinars, and guides to help clients achieve success with Penn Foster and ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle
Manage Client Resource Centers in HubSpot, hosting relevant content by customer channel
Develop landing pages and microsites to support demand generation and enrollment process into clients? Penn Foster programs
Help lead gen marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy and co-marketing activities; develop case studies, manage library of client success stories, and collaborate with MarCom team to facilitate client PR and speaking opportunities
Manage B2B client surveys in collaboration with Market Research team to track NPS, client satisfaction, and outcomes; understand the Voice of the Customer and use it to drive improvements in the client experience
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including client success, sales, and solutions engineering to build deep understanding of the customer journey and opportunities for growth
Prepare reports and help maintain our customer database and list segmentation
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
2-3 years of experience in a B2B marketing role is preferred; additional B2C marketing experience a plus
Customer-centric marketer with strong passion for serving and understanding customers
Ability to frame up ideas and communicate with leaders across the organization as well as with customers
Experience developing innovative email marketing strategies, testing and tracking campaigns, and iterating on what?s successful
Agency-like mindset with ability to build either customizable or repeatable processes for customer campaigns
Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to build effective presentations
Strong interpersonal skills to nurture customer relationships and work with cross-functional teams
Genuine collaborative team player who wants to see others and themselves thrive
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts; uses data to drive decision-making
Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day grind to help reach marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand, and improve the customer experience
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, often under tight deadlines
Exposure to education or corporate training industry is a plus; as is experience in SAAS organization
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
Experience with HubSpot marketing tools and Salesforce CRM a plus
