Job Overview

As a Billing analyst II, you will be responsible for the billing of customers for transactional volume on a monthly basis and daily cash application of all customer payments in lockbox account. You will also draft customers for monthly payments of invoices and analyze customer billing for errors, issues, and revisions per support case requests.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly billing file uploads on month close schedule (Business days 1-2)
  • Apply all customer payments (ACH, Wires, check payments) to customer account using banking lockbox and Netsuite ERP system daily
  • Prepare new billing templates for all new customers following “go-live” date on systems
  • Annual invoicing of customer PO boxes per annual invoice timing on customer agreements
  • Application of customer credits on AR account
  • Monthly drafting of customers for ACH debits related to customer payments of transactional invoices
  • Maintain ACH draft accounts for customers.
  • Analyze customer billing and contracts related to customer support cases through Salesforce
  • Ensure professional communication with internal and external customers
  • Required Education, Skills, And Qualification
  • A Bachelor’s degree with a major in a business-related field (Business, Accounting, Finance)
  • 4+ years of experience working in billing, finance, and/or accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate-level MS Excel skills as well as familiarity with other Microsoft Office products and corporate ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Customer focused behaviors such as building positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Preferred Education, Skills, And Qualification
    • Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce
    • Intermediate MS Access skills
    • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience
