The Role:

As a Business Support Officer, you’ll join an innovative, dedicated, and high-profile council in the heart of London. 

You’ll provide support to our care team members through a variety of administrative tasks. It’s challenging and rewarding work that helps us deliver the high standard of care services we’ve come to be known for. On top of this, you’ll be able to continually expand your skills and experience, enjoy flexible working and take advantage of excellent training and development resources.

You’ll take on a range of administrative and customer service duties to support our care team members plus managers and others. This includes frequent customer contact via email and phone, dealing with internal and external stakeholders and monitoring the process of care assessments and cases. 

You’ll become familiar with several IT systems and form a key part of the service, helping us run things smoothly an efficiently. As well as arranging meetings, taking minutes during discussions and booking interpreters, you’ll also help resolve financial issues, prepare postal communications and collect data for analysis.

About You:

You’ll have experience of administrative work, ideally in the not-for-profit sector. You’ll also have a good understanding of IT systems and be able to work quickly, accurately and methodically, building good working relationships in the process. We’re also looking for candidates with a sound knowledge of health and social care services. 

You should be qualified to GCSE level or equivalent, ideally to an NVQ Level 4.
