Job Summary:
Manages and is responsible for data integrity, reporting, analytics and engineering reviews for regional inventory.  The successful candidate will get exposure to a broad range of disciplines from data integrity through to complex engineering challenges across the Asia-Pacific region.

People Management
· May act as a dotted-line manager to a team of junior and senior Capacity Engineers.
· Delegates assignments to subordinates, monitors workload, and redistributes tasks as required to meet deadlines and key metrics

Data Quality

· Leads and is responsible for ensuring the reduction of Data Quality errors assigned to the Capacity Department.

· Engages with Global Data Quality team on a regular cadence to drive error corrections.

· Works with other Capacity Team members or other stakeholders to correct errors.

· Participates in error correction work-groups.

· The reduction and maintenance of low error numbers will be a KPI of this role.

Hold Program Management

· Leads and is responsible for management and reporting on Hold inventory.

· Classifies or ensures classification of inventory placed on hold.

· Performed appropriate audits (spatial, engineering, etc) to determine a paths or projects for inventor hold release.

· Works with operations teams on release projects.

· Manages inventory database and updates inventory following project outcomes.

· The classification, release path establishment and reduction in hold inventory will be a KPI of this role.

IBX Audits & Reviews

· Leads and is responsible for the execution of IBX Audits.

· Directly performs the engineering elements of audits and updates appropriate systems.

· Works with and delegates tasks to other Capacity Engineers involved in the audit.

· Works with Operations teams and other stakeholders for information gathering and validation.

· Responsible for audit coordination, meetings and completion.

· Escalates issues to appropriate senior management levels or outside departments

· Performs reviews on new IBX's to confirm capacity capabilities of supporting infrastructure.

· Performs reviews on existing IBX's to identify limitations and possible candidates for upgrade or expansion.

Deferred Infrastructure

· Maintains records of all deferred infrastructure and their associated capacity capabilities.

· Works with the operations teams to identify the trigger points for when to call-in deferred infrastructure.

· Provides the Corporate-Development team with the supporting data for business-cases.

· Prepares monthly capacity reports used by stakeholders and the executive team.

· Identifies ways to improve reporting capabilities (with a focus on automation).

· Works with global teams to ensure consistency in reporting.

· Prepares audits on inventory and capacity engineering capabilities for management review, noting all increases, decreases and discrepancies

Problem Solving
· Acts as advisor and provides direction to staff as required to analyze and resolve out-of-process technical problems.
· Selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to problems that deviate from established processes or operational policies.
· Works with various other department contacts to identify and resolve any problems related to capacity.

· Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.

· 5+ years experience in Data-Center engineering or similar fields.
· Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering experience preferred.
