We are looking for an analytical and story-teller individual to help our clients understand shoppers and to inspire growth for their business, with particular focus on the Ecommerce channel. The successful candidate will be working in a team of like-minded, highly skilled experts and will be contributing to further innovation and expansion of our commercial offer.

This role is directly contributing to the growth and development of our new Worldpanel Plus service. The service is a receipt snapping smart-phone based methodology that captures millions of real purchase transactions and shopper survey responses, both in-store and Online. From this we aim to uncover commercially valuable insights into UK shopping behaviour that can help our clients make better business decisions.

KEY OUTCOMES

  • Contributing towards the management and delivery of primarily Worldpanel plus e-commerce research projects - employing your ever-expanding industry knowledge and insight generating abilities to solve client research briefs using the new data
  • Promoting the service to clients and educating internal audiences – become an expert in Ecommerce and also build a solid understanding of the wider Worldpanel plus dataset, understanding and articulating its capabilities, benefits and quirks to educate the wider business and promote the service to our client base
  • Contributing towards delivering against team commercial targets - close sales through consultative selling by working in partnership with your Line Manager, and relevant account teams and new business people
  • The opportunity to be involved in shaping the future capabilities of the service - providing feedback of your experiences on client briefs and making relevant suggestions for improvements and enhancements in team forums
  • Contribute towards driving team engagement and having ownership of team initiatives as we continue to grow as a team

CAPABILITIES 

  • Strong data interpretation and visualization skills, with a proven track record of understanding shopper behavior. A willingness to dive into panel data to explore and interpret what you discover
  • Experience and ability in presenting insights in a compelling and convincing manner to client audiences
  • A self-sufficient and pro-active attitude, with a willingness to learn new skills, get involved with initiatives across the team, and adapt to ever evolving circumstances
  • An ability to take ownership of and build meaningful relationships with clients, both in the short and long term
  • An ability to help close sales and energetically promote the benefits of Worldpanel plus to clients and internal audiences
  • A keen interest in understanding human behavior, and a good knowledge of the UK shopping landscape; retailers and brands
