Coordinate and monitor overall field construction administration activities and/or manage engineering services on mid to large size projects of a diverse and complex nature in accordance with design specifications to assure that construction projects are completed in compliance with the drawings and specifications, and within budget, on schedule, and with quality. Assure implementation of plans and specifications. Assure construction activities are in accordance with contractual documents and are completed within budget and schedule.

Provide Constructability reviews of desing builders work plans and all construction phase submittals associated with the project. Provide Construction Management coordination for the project, including progress and financial reporting, budgeting, estimating, scheduling and change control. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design and construction elements meet the needs of both the end users and overall project goals.

Provide technical leadership for complex or unique assignments. Read and interprets complex documents. Monitor staff activities for conformance with contractual requirements.

Train and develop staff. Provide overall administration of project by overseeing multi-disciplines craft work, such as electrician, communication and signal technician, mechanic, carpenters, track layers, millwright, foreman, painters, plumbers, stone masons, pile driver and commercial driver, and general laborers. Serve as senior company representative at the construction site with responsibility to ensure that construction proceeds in accordance with design and contractual documents in the Construction Project Manager's absence.

Represents HNTB with client, public, and State and Federal regulatory agencies. Requires: Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management plus 12 years of related experience.

Related experience must include: Document Management software (including Oracle Primavera Contract Manager (PCM), ProjectWise, Adobe Systems Adobe Acrobat, Daily Manager, Site Manager, and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site); Scheduling software (including MS Project and Primavera P7/P6); Engineering Drawing software (including AutoCAD, Solidworks, MicroStation, and Blue Beam); Graphics or photo imaging software (including Adobe Systems Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Visio); Internet browser software; Project management software (including Microsoft SharePoint and Project, and Oracle Primavera Enterprise Project Portfolio Management). Related experience must also include: working with Power Electronics, Electrical, Instrument and Controls, and Communication Engineering. Must have experience in Building and Construction design and development projects, including schematics, plan and specifications, knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction, buildings, or other structures such as highways, bridges, culverts, roads and associated infrastructure.
