The Customer Support Specialist (CSS) is a critical role in the success of JR Tree Service and Landscaping. This person handles customer and vendor interactions, customer database accuracy, job scheduling, marketing, and account reconciliation. The CSS reports to the General Manager. This is a part-time 25 hour/week position. Normal working hours are 9am to 2pm Monday through Friday.

Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls, texts, and emails
  • Enter customer data into CRM software (SingleOps)
  • Relay messages as appropriate
  • Schedule jobs and inform customers
  • Keep customers informed about active jobs
  • Follow up on leads (keep CRM current)
  • Follow up on proposals (keep CRM current)
  • Follow up after job is completed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Make sales calls and send mailers to prospective clients
  • Collect credit card receipts from employees and reconcile credit card statements
  • Collect timecards, process payroll, and distribute paychecks
  • Track revenue by crew and post on monthly basis
  • Follow up on late customer collections
  • Collect customer feedback and share with GM, Accountant, and/or President
  • Produce weekly and monthly management reports

Requirements

  • Technically savvy and quick to learn software applications
  • 2+ years experience with online Quickbooks
  • 2 + years bookkeeping experience
  • 2+ years AP/AR experience
  • 40+ wpm typing speed
  • Bachelors degree preferred, Associates degree required
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Must enjoy talking with prospective customers on the phone
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must live in the Greensboro area
  • Must have reliable high speed internet connection as this position can be 60% work from home.
