As an Executive Assistant to the Regional President within PNC's Regional President organization, you will be based in Seattle, WA. Job Description Provides support to the regional president by performing a wide range of administrative and general office related duties. Provides administrative support by performing and coordinating special projects which involve visible and sensitive public contact which might otherwise require more personal attention by the regional president; communicates and coordinates instructions of the regional president with various individuals and/or departments; furnishes and obtains information from other managers or external sources.

Facilitates the regional president's work by organizing and maintaining files of correspondence, records and related materials; follows up on pending matters with very limited direction. Provides secretarial support by drafting correspondence for regional president's signature/approval; schedules appointments; coordinates meetings, conferences and travel arrangements; transcribes dictation and types a variety of correspondence of a highly confidential nature. Ensures the efficiency of department operations by directing the activities of secretaries and clerical staff.

Provides receptionist support by receiving and screening telephone calls,mail and visitors;responding to questions; obtaining and furnishing information to save the manager's time. Prepares complex management reports/documents by gathering and summarizing data (or overseeing such functions); organizing and analyzing data. Controls expenses by monitoring expenditures and researching operating budget variances.

Effective Communications Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Flexibility and Adaptability Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; ability to adapt as needed. Listening Knowledge of effective listening issues and techniques; ability to gather, clarify, and apply information transmitted verbally, while exhibiting a genuine interest toward the speaker. Office Administration Ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams.

Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
