Global leader and manufacturer of sensors, safety systems and automatic identification products for industrial applications needs Field Service Technicians with Logistics experience to install and support their products throughout North America. This is a remote opportunity ideally located near a major airport.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide amazing customer service by effectively managing customer expectations

Introduce, implement, and support various Service programs

Build support structures and populate with company equipment. Requires the use of hand tools and basic construction knowledge.

Make electrical connections of equipment.

Configure products utilizing laptop and configuration software.

Provide onsite commissioning of installed equipment following established criteria.

Perform onsite start up support, monitor installed equipment for proper operation, and make adjustments as needed.

Must be able to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and replace equipment.

Create equipment configuration files and make changes with limited guidance.

Act as a site lead for small projects being responsible for the entire project to completion. Duties include but are not limited to determining onsite schedule, assigning appropriate resources to tasks, reporting any onsite issues to management, providing daily status reports.

Provide outstanding technical support during normal business hours when working from office or home location.

Provide accurate and timely service reports, time cards, and travel expenses.

Attend required training sessions as assigned.

Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

_EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:_

Two-year college degree or equivalent work experience required; Four-year college degree is preferred.

25 years of prior field service experience within the LOGISTICS AUTOMATION

_OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:_

This is a travel position and will require domestic and international travel upwards of 85% of time.

Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Able and willing to work alternative schedules including weekend, and on-call hours as needed.

Legally permitted to work in the United States.

Able to work in a general office environment.
