Job Title: Financial Services Legal Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12 months

Project Deliverables:
Role resides within the Legal workstream of the Merger Program Office for a client that is currently executing a merger and integration.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
*Prioritize relationship management by taking initiative to proactively drive business outcomes for clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
*Assist in the development of frameworks that support client future-state organizational design and alignment
*Ensure activities are aligned with the overall project timeline and key milestones, and are integrated with other workstreams as required
*Assist team leads to define and deploy disclosure activities as required by the project, such as but not limited to, deliver and manage communication, plan and organize meetings, draft communication materials such as presentations, arrange logistics and other events to engage and inform stakeholders
*Track, interpret and assess legal, regulatory or standard framework issues that impact the business and identify strategic opportunities
*Help identify and define disclosure requirements and ensure the target framework adheres to the legal standards, policies, and guidelines of the client organization
*Help manage relationships across internal teams to ensure programs are executed at the highest level from end-to-end; collaborate effectively with business clients and cross-functional groups
*Write executive level communications for client leadership (e.g., emails, PowerPoints, Word documents)
*Elicit success criteria to ensure holistic solution to problems of varying complexity
*Perform basic data analysis collaborating with business reporting and metric groups
*Use sound judgement / decision making within scope of responsibility
*Write prescriptive, action-oriented emails to follow-up with key stakeholders after meetings
*Manage overall work plan, conduct weekly status reporting, identify issues and manage risks as needed
*Manage business/technology delivery using a methodology-driven approach and producing effective solutions
*Use strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills
*Travel according to client demands

Basic Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in business, communication, management, or other related field of study
*1 + year experience in legal review of mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and/or enterprise cost reduction teams, including due diligence, assessment of transaction risks, and/or post-merger integration
*2 + years' experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project

*Financial services industry experience
*Consulting experience
*Familiarity with Environmental and Social Frameworks and Disclosures
*Recent experience in public legal/regulatory disclosures and/or data assurance
