Responsibilities Include:

Maintaining and optimizing network services management facilities in a complex communications environment requiring interoperability, reliability and security.

Performing task management and project coordination in support of business projects exhibiting a diverse set of requirements in an environment of multiple variations of application services and operating systems

Experience successfully supporting and managing an enterprise network

Ability to oversee the development of detailed project plans, and monitor progress

Strong knowledge of Cisco equipment including 6500, 7200, VPN 3000, FWSM, PIX

Strong experience with content load balancing (F5, CSS…)

Strong knowledge of communication technologies such as: TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, QOS, VOIP, ATM, Frame Relay, MPLS, and telephony.

Strong Knowledge in IP Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP…)

Willingness to work beyond core business hours when necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned security system modifications.

Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills

Technical/Skills Required:

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of local area networking, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of load balancing, architecture, implementation, performance tuning and day to day support.

Ability to demonstrate self-motivation and to bring focus to tasks.

Ability to communicate effectively with the technical services organization, both conceptually and technically.

Ability to perform successfully in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

Four to six years of experience working in a Network Engineering environment this would include troubleshooting, hardware and software diagnostics, and system monitoring and project management

CCNP or equivalent experience.
