Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role will give you the opportunity to take ownership, make your mark and add value to this newly created position.  Working for an established City based Financial Service Organisation.

  
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement a Compliance Risk management framework
  • Identify, monitor and report on regulatory and governance matters
  • Draft, review and update Compliance policies and procedures
  • Provide advisory support to ensure all practices are in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, industry practices etc.
  • Ensure identified breaches are addressed and resolved
  • Analyse business data to identify any emerging risk
  • Provide legal advice and approval of transactions
  • Ensure the integration of a regulatory compliance culture into work processes
  
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  
  • 3 + years in a Compliance & Risk position
  • 3 + years as a Lawyer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt concepts and take a pragmatic commercial approach
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
