We are seeking an Lead Developer in one of our Woolpert offices or possibly
telecommute based on experience.

Responsibilities
* Proactively communicate to team the latest technological developments
affecting our industry and identify opportunities for industry
presentations
* Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
* Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by
establishing good practices and habits
* Perform reviews of solution design and code
* Design, develop and unit test applications
* Interest and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and applying them
to solve challenging problems
* Comfortable with agile software development practices, continuous
integration, and test-driven development
* Interest in leading, mentoring, and supporting other developers both by
example and through your subject matter expertise
* Perform technical aspects of specified deliverables and lead team of
technical staff in creating deliverables consistent with scope, schedule
and budget
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
* Minimum of 10 years Software Development in three or more of the
following languages: C#, Java, SQL (any flavor), JavaScript, HTML, CSS,
Python
* Experience with automated software testing at various levels including
unit tests, integration tests, and system tests
* Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL,
MySQL, etc.)
* Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a
fast-paced, matrixed environment
* Proven track record of coaching team members and ability to set clear
expectations and goals
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic
environment
* Ability to create official work / cost estimates for software development
tasks
* Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team
environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals
* Quickly adapt and respond to industry changes as well as internal
initiatives
