Lead Digital Studios Recruiter

Cognizant is seeking a Lead Digital Studios Recruiter to support the growth of our Digital Business in select US cities. This individual will initially start as a contractor and shall be responsible for executing full-cycle recruiting programs to secure industry-leading talent for Cognizant’s transformation Practice areas. This position plays a meaningful role in ensuring Cognizant hires the best talent to remain a world-class digital employer of choice.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Cognizant Digital Business leaders and delivery partners to understand their objectives and provide solutions for their hiring needs. Build structure and rigor around candidate experience and hiring processes.

  • Establish, nurture, and maintain partnerships with hiring managers, recruiting partners, and Cognizant’s talent management community.

  • Identify, onboard and lead a dedicated team of 3-5 digital transformation recruiters.

  • Identify, pipeline and hire digital transformation and engineering talent across multiple Cognizant regional delivery centers (RDC) and North America based studios.

  • Develop and expand Cognizant’s local employer of choice footprint in the digital talent community while executing diverse candidate generation strategies. This includes driving and reporting on talent research activities, directly sourcing candidates via a variety of available tools, and using colleagues’ networks and sourcing capabilities.

  • Build compelling, broad job postings to attract a diverse population of local digital transformation applicants.

  • Qualify, screen and interview prospective candidates while handling requisition status reports in our Taleo ATS, maintain hiring critical metrics, compliance with EEOC regulations and AA goals, company recruitment policies, and new hire on-boarding processes.

  • Use hands-on sourcing techniques including targeted media campaigns, employee referral programs, hackathons, conducting open house events, engaging /private/diversity workforce partners, veteran transition programs, etc

  • Drive positive candidate experiences through our interview process with clear communication at every step.

  • Provide candidates relevant information concerning the culture, career path, professional development, and benefits program within Cognizant’s Digital Business

  • Effectively identify and partner with external recruitment agencies on targeted external searches where vital.

  • Propose, eloquent, negotiate and close full-time offers (compensation, benefits, relocation, immigration, etc).

  • Uphold interpersonal confidentiality and compliance standards

  • Lead special projects including industry events, workshops, candidate experience, diversity & inclusion, employer branding etc.


Experience and Attributes

  • 7-10 years of technology recruitment and/or digital agency recruitment experience.

  • Passion for digital transformation, diversity of thought and recruiting standard methodologies.

  • Proven ability to handle deadline dependent high volume recruitment activities for various levels while using innovative methods to source and attract passive/diverse candidates.

  • Ability to quickly solution and succeed with minimal direction within a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings/events and maintain a flexible work schedule

  • Effective verbal skills with a multifaceted telephone and in-person presence

  • Strong professional demeanor using good judgment and the ability to function within a distributed team setting

  • Ability to partner with distributed HR business partners to meet the needs of the business.

  • Conduct follow-up meetings with managers to determine the efficiency of recruiting plans and their implementation.

  • Ability to manage both the candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.

  • Flexibility to balance multiple priorities/deadlines through organizational skills and project management capability.

  • Solid knowledge of common human resources practices, employment, and immigration laws and/or government compliance regulations as it relates to recruitment and hiring.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to utilize technology and relevant applications including Microsoft Office Suite, IQ Navigator and Taleo.
