Learning Advisor - Relationship Manager

Job Description

The Relationship Manager in partnership with the Senior Relationship Manager for Banking, Capital Markets, and Advisory is responsible for all matters related to development and performance improvement.  This will include partnering with key business stakeholders to consult on learning needs, conduct thorough needs analyses, deliver learning OR work with external partners to deliver learning, and measure impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In conjunction with the Senior Relationship Manager:

  • Develops and executes learning and development strategy including: assessment and reengineering of existing programs, analysis of gaps, and development of a platform that will provide learning and development opportunities throughout various career stages and levels
  • Works with key business stakeholders to assess needs and develop, manage and execute comprehensive research-based, learning plans - ensuring that these solutions and programs support business drivers and targets
  • Identifies strategies and solutions that are directly linked to organizational and business goals by establishing and maintaining partnerships with key business contacts, HR, SMEs, and vendors to identify and drive performance improvement change
  • Utilizes sound performance diagnostic techniques and consultative skills to drive interventions to improve organizational (not simply individual) performance
  • Implements learning projects employing blended instructional technology and solutions; including traditional classroom, web-based, and other forms of learning
  • Proactively collaborates with the regional L&D teams and partners with all global colleagues responsible for BCMA/ICG/Citi learning and development
  • Creates regular executive/stakeholder presentations and marketing material to provide updates, disseminate information, and demonstrate impact

In addition:

  • Demonstrates an up-to-date knowledge of the client business, products and risks and identify solutions to meet the needs and circumstances of the client
  • Builds strong relationships with the HR Generalists and other partners for the businesses
  • Knows and has strong relationships with relevant and "best in class" external vendors and SMEs
  • Work in conjunction with other internal learning partners, to leverage core-curriculum offerings and provide appropriate tailored solutions
  • Manages/supports all elements of design and delivery of learning programs
  • Provides facilitation services where appropriate
  • Maintains and ensures accuracy of all L&D related information (i.e., website info, reporting)
  • Brings a research-based, iterative and curious mindset to all engagements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7-10 years of experience in Learning and Development within the Financial Services industry is preferred
  • Breadth of experience in needs assessments, instructional design, delivery for multiple modalities (e.g., classroom, virtual)
  • Experience in large, matrixed and multinational organizations is preferred
  • Candidate should also demonstrate effective stand-up delivery / facilitation skills
