The Supervisor Logistics is responsible for supervising, coordinating and overseeing the logistics operations and providing coaching, development and training to the staff members. S/He must be able to provide recommendations for improvements to the facility, equipment, machinery, and processes. S/He is accountable that the staff is performing to standard and has to ensure that progress is made to achieve the business objectives.

Essential Functions

- Manage the customers J.I.T. inbound movement of production material and outbound flow of all dunnage in an efficient manner according to predetermined parameters, while reacting to day to day logistics exceptions
- Meet regularly with Central Engineering and Logistics team, to review current Logistics requirements and performance to Cube Utilization targets as well as review and develop future Logistics needs based on Customer requirements
- Ensure carrier compliance to a predetermined set of parameters, conduct OS & D investigations, manage Carrier Claim process
- Provide regular, timely reports and accountable for onsite Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Plan, conduct and review safety audits and cube utilization audits, ensuring all parameters are met and continuous improvement initiatives are followed

- College degree/Technical Certification required Business, Logistics, Transportation or a related field. Combination of other education and experiences will be considered
- Three (3) years or more Experience in a similar Transportation/Logistics related field required
- Three (3) years or more Experience in utilizing Excel VLookups, Macros and Formulas required

Description du poste: Relevant du gestionnaire, le superviseur de la logistique est responsable de superviser, observer et coordonner les oprations logistiques ainsi que de fournir un encadrement, du dveloppement et de la formation aux membres du personnel. Il doit tre capable de fournir des recommandations pour l'amlioration des installations, des quipements, de la machinerie et des processus. Responsabilits:

- Grer les dplacements de materiel de production et les flux sortants de tout les arrimages d'une manire efficace selon des paramtres prdtermins, tout en ragissant aux exceptions de logistique au jour le jour
- Rencontrer rgulirement l'quipe centrale d'ingnierie et de logistique, pour revoir les exigences actuelles et le rendement courant des objectifs d'utilisation cubique ainsi que pour rviser et dvelopper les besoins futurs en logistique selon les exigences des clients.
- S'assurer de la conformit des transporteurs un ensemble donn de paramtres, mener des investigations OS & D, grer le processus de rclamation des transporteurs
- Fournir des rapport rguliers en temps opportun et responsable des indicateurs de rendement cls (IRC) de l'emplacement
- Planifier, mener et rviser des audits de sant/scurit et d'utilisation cubique, en s'assurant que tous les paramtres sont remplis et que les initiatives d'amlioration continue sont suivies Responsabilits Supplmentaires:
- Excuter d'autres fonctions, tel qu'assign. Exigences: Diplme collegial / certificat technique (Diplme en administration, logistique, transport ou dans un domaine connexe. Une combinaison de scolarit diffrente et d'exprience sera considre , Exig). 3 ans ou plus Experience Exprience dans un domaine similaire au transport/logistique {Exig} 3 ans ou plus Experience Exprience dans l'utilisation de VLookups, des macros et formules d'Excel {Exig} Dmontre son engagement aux objectifs organisationnels. Fortes aptitudes en planification (Exig). . Centr sur les rsultats avec un degr lev d'initiative (Exig). Bonnes comptences en leadership. Comptences en motivation (Exig). Capacit de travailler indpendamment et en quipe. (Exig). Souplesse pour fonctionner et tre autonome dans un environnement au rythme soutenu.. (Exig). Capable de mener plusieurs tches la fois, trs organis et ayant d'excellentes aptitudes en gestion du temps. (Exig). . Dtail orient avec d'excellentes pratiques de suivi (Exig). Connaissances dmontres des diffrents principes de gestion du transport (Avanc level, Exig). Doit possder une bonne matrise informatique et tre capable d'utiliser la suite Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) (Avanc level, Exig). Bonne connaissance des oprations de transport et logistique (Avanc level, Exig).
