ABOUT THIS TEAM Global Retail Design Innovation collaborates and co-creates with internal business units to develop, innovate and evolve retail experiential concepts, retail store design, and retail fixture design that embody the unique lululemon experience. The team is responsible for the establishment, governance and maintenance of global store design principles, guidelines and prototypical templates to ensure consistent design ques reinforce a strong experiential brand identity.

Through clarity, focus and coordination we support the business strategies and elevate the guest experience through retail design innovation. JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the management and completion of store design initiatives and projects that support team goals each year to elevate the retail environment for lululemon Oversee the development, improvement and implementation of process Evaluate and audit current business practices for improvement and/or modification Work cross-functionally with teams in Store Design, Operations, Real Estate, Planning, Construction, Procurement, Visual Merchandising, Brand, Whitespace, Future Operations and other business units throughout the organization to implement and execute strategies, initiatives and policies that support the wider business goals

Work with and maintain external vendor relationships that contribute to team initiatives and workstreams Build, own and maintain processes to improve efficiencies, standards and operations across the design team, supporting the development of guidelines, templates and playbooks to benefit from economies of scale, quality control, developed and validated systems and concepts KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Receive, develop and implement strategic direction from the Director Develop processes to execute and manage initiative milestones, timelines, dependencies and priorities, working directly with Brand, Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, Future Operations, Store Design, Construction, Real Estate, external vendors and suppliers Develop and document training materials, process outlines, flowcharts and implementation procedures Engage and align team and stakeholders to understand process, timelines, dependencies, individual accountability and responsibilities and measures of success Creates communication plans and/or Communication Platforms for cross-functional enrollment and education of Store Design Innovation outputs Collaborate with internal partners to strategically and tactically execute projects and maintain a feedback loop for testing, approvals and optimization Coordinate post-project wrap-ups, learnings amp; appreciations, ensures reporting amp; tracking are being actioned Develop and maintains systems to track design deliverables accurately Own and develop the on-boarding process for new team members Evaluate existing design processes, breaks down various processes with flowcharts, manuals and other documentation outlining current practices, identifying opportunities for improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, improve time management and any other beneficial change Create documentation and outline process improvements to explain change and how to implement them with step-by-step instructions and environment of partners Manage improvement and implementation processes by working with design team and cross-functional partners to ensure the plan is clear and can be applied quickly and efficiently Conduct ongoing analyses by continuing to monitor and assess various processes to ensure they are producing the desired outcomes, working with the Director to adjust improvements to result in better production, cost reduction, efficiencies or other targeted outcomes Update department procedures and policies through the creation of documentation and present and enroll the team through changes Utilize project management, design, and strategy, techniques to control a creative process, supporting a culture of creativity, and build a structure and organization for design to support the Director in achieving strategic and mission goals through design Create and maintain project timelines, workflow, cross-functional partner requirements Create and document post-project wrap-ups, learnings and appreciations and ensures reporting and tracking are being actioned QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Project Management 8-10 years of experience as a designer, project manager, or lead Store Development in the following areas: vertical retail, creative agency, design/architectural practice Ability to effectively manage tasks of varying complexities, and prioritization Strong ability to drive projects forward, meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Highly motivated, detail oriented, dependable, have a proved work ethic and integrity. Fluency in Smartsheet, Excel, Microsoft Project, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Lucernex Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate actively and proactively with others in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team.

Excellent verbal, visual and presenter communication skills to diverse business stakeholders of various management types and levels of the organization. Analytical and organizational skills Demonstrated successful management of multiple projects and initiatives deliverables at different phases of development on time and within the given budget. Detail oriented problem solver able to employ leadership, critical thinking and time management skills and can work efficiently and effectively both independently and in teams Familiar with all phases of project management and Creative Design Phases, able to work with people of diverse discipline backgrounds Develop and implement innovative ways to improve processes Ability to speak the language of business strategy and the language of design MUST HAVES Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.
