About School Infrastructure
School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
About the team
Business Systems provides a customer-focused and strategic advisory function, as a part of the Business Enablement directorate, which enables the delivery of a record capital investment in NSW.
The Business Systems function provides a centre of excellence in the provision of systems and technology that supports the delivery and management of school property assets. The Business Systems team work closely with school infrastructure stakeholders and the Asset Management Units in the use of information as a core resource in support of the day-to-day operation and management of assets.
About the role
In your new role you will be leading and managing the development and operation of SINSW business systems across various directorates, including the provision of innovative technical and business solutions, to ensure a high-standard of system performance, functionality and reliability. You will provide specialist, expert strategic advice and recommendations, and lead and manage a small team of specialist staff to build and enhance team capabilities and performance.
The ideal candidate will be very well organised, and a great communicator and people manager, who will build strong professional relationships with stakeholders and customers both internal and external to the business. You will be professional, results driven, and understand and apply effective planning, coordination and control methods and understand and use available technologies to maximise efficiencies and effectiveness.
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in the management and implementation of ICT systems
