We are currently seeking a Communications Assistant, Graduate Trainee to join our growing MCQ London team.
MCQ are looking for a highly talented candidate to join the Communications team based at our London HQ. You’ll be acting as a brand ambassador and you will be supporting the overall company strategy. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to develop and grow their Communications & Digital expertise in line with the MCQ vision.
How you will contribute
Be part of the Communications team to provide first line support in a timely and effective manner
Responsible for managing the sample movements for all categories, including all send outs and all call backs
Assisting in the accurate maintenance of press office databases, filing systems and internet pages
Collating press cuttings (print, digital and social) and compiling reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Supporting with the end to end production of seasonal marketing and communication assets (including, but not limited to campaigns and lookbooks) across the brand
Coordinating and organising travel arrangements and catering, as well as liaising with studios, photographers and – internal and external talents
Proactively share new ideas for social content
Support with content scheduling, copywriting and reporting across social channels
Your skills and experience
Previous communications and production experience preferred
Extensive experience in organising and managing press samples (familiar with Fashion GPS is a plus)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be a good team player and build + maintain relationships
Excellent English writing skills as well as effective verbal and written communication skills
Motivated and proactive with a ‘can-do’ attitude to problems while staying agile
Excellent attention to details and ability to work in a pressurized and time sensitive environment
Understanding of the contemporary fashion industry
Understanding of the social media landscape, new emerging apps and communication tools
