What_You'll_Do_Here

The Product Marketing Director for Mathematics will to contribute to the
success of our mathematics product lines by directing and supervising all
marketing aspects related to product development, strategic marketing plans,
and implementing campaigns that help achieve revenue goals. The Product
Marketing Director oversees sales and customer support for all assigned product
lines. The Product Marketing Director is expected to have an in-depth
understanding of the content and strategies of designated product lines as well
as knowledge of current trends for curriculam and marketing best practices. Key
attributes for a successful Product Marketing Director include flexibility,
attention to detail, organization, creativity, and deep market knowledge.

Responsibilities_Include

The Product Marketing Director for Mathematics will have responsibility for the
partnership between National Geographic Learning and Big Ideas Learning (BIL)
as well as effectively marketing of our grades K-5 Mathematics product line.
* Guide National Geographic Learning's (NGL) partnership with BIL on all
aspects of the business, helping to drive revenue growth and market
penetration. Developing and executing high-impact marketing plans you
will create brand awareness, develop strong lead generation, and
successful adoption of BIL s K-12 core mathematics programs. You will
also need to maintain market knowledge of trends, issues, and competitors
in the market space, to drive stronger messaging, strategy, and
collaboration with BIL.
* Regular collaboration with BIL on national and state-specific product
development, third-party product reviews, coordinated marketing plans,
and other initiatives to ensure the successful revenue growth. Coordinate
successful campaign partnership in key market areas such as state-
adoptions.
* work with BIL and NGL Sales teams on both national and territory-specific
sales campaigns, including strategy development and execution.
Collaborate on the development of sales goals for BIL and NGL.
Communicate forecasts, state updates, and market trends to inform product
development, sales sampling forecasts, and market positioning. Work with
BIL and NGL on sales processes and elements of financial impact such as
sales/gratis protocols, pilot procedure/terms, professional development
terms, and special offers.
* Work across groups and departments to maximize information sharing and
improve the exchange between the product management team and sales,
marketing, development, fulfillment, and support.
* Mentor team members to ensure the quality, consistency, and timeliness of
the department's output, while also prioritizing and focusing on actions,
efforts and resources that can help meeting revenue and expense goals.

Required

Skills You Will Need Here:
* Bachelor s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or a minimum of seven years
related PreK-12 marketing experience; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
* A minimum of 7+ years experience in product marketing
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Computer literate and proficient in using word processing, spreadsheet,
presentation software

Preferred
* Deep experience in the K-12 mathematics education market including
thorough knowledge of market challenges, competitor positioning, and
current educational philosophy
* Demonstrated success in teaching or defining, launching, and/or selling a
product(s)
