An exciting opportunity has become available at French Connection for a Production Administration Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Merchandise Planning Manager, the Production Administration Assistant will assist the Planning and Buying teams across all areas of the business.
  
The successful applicant will be responsible for raising purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate data input into the internal system, as well as performing general administration duties, and assisting with daily office tasks.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

  • Raising and updating purchase orders
  • Communicating timing of Purchase Order deliveries to the business, and raising issues and solutions as they arise, particularly as they relate to marketing and test stores
  • Ensuring buy plan is up to date and reflects reality
  • Data entry and reporting
  • Printing and organising of reports for the departments as required
  • Collecting incoming mail and packages and arranging parcels to be sent to and collected from suppliers
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the planning and buying departments on all other related administrative tasks
  • Supporting the buying department in production tasks 
ALL ABOUT YOU
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, be analytical and have excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in fashion retail would be advantageous
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside the square
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer literacy skills including competency with Microsoft Office
  • Relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification is preferred
