Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is one of the largest defence companies in Australia. As a result of continued growth within Future SATCOM capability requirements, we are currently seeking recruitment of an experienced Program Training Lead to join the team that supports the development of this emerging program.
This position fulfils the lead role in the analysis, design, development and execution of a training solution for the Australian Defence Satellite Communication System training requirements, working on the most advanced technologies systems in the world.
We are seeking self-motivated professionals with experience of executing Training Programs with a desire for a challenging and rewarding career with BDA.
The position is located in the Brisbane CBD, although the role can be conducted from other BDA sites across Australia. It also affords exciting opportunities to support program commitments within Australia and Internationally, as required.

Lead the Training Team in providing an innovative training solution for an emerging capability
Deliver the Program Manager professional training guidance, including providing required business metrics
Execute a Training Strategy, ensuring program development milestones are achieved
Review and evaluate training effort, to meet program development goals
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provide oversight and approval of training approaches, products and processes
Support proposal activities and the transition of the training solution into execution
Manage the Training Team as part of an integrated effort across the programs development
BDA requires all applicants to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 6 or more years' related work experience. In lieu of a degree, 8+ years' equivalent experience.
Experience conducting training in a defence environment
Diploma Training Design and Development (TAE 50216) or equivalent qualification
Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116) or equivalent qualification
Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
Familiarity with innovative and modern training methods with a technology focus, including Modelling and Simulation tools or devices
