Are you a Clinical Professional seeking a rewarding career?  The Sydney Clinic is looking for qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse/Mental Health Endorsed Enrolled Nurse and RMHN/EENs specializing in addiction disorders to join our established Mental Health department.

As the

Registered Nurse

your responsibilities will include:

  • Work in partnership with the MDT, patients, families and carers in decision-making regarding provision of care promoting beneficial relationships

  • A trauma informed and recovery focussed approach to patient care.

  • Deliver quality nursing care by Assessing, Planning, Implementing and evaluating individual patient care

  • Participate in Safety Huddles and Complex Case Reviews.

  • Provide a standard of care according to the individuals level of experience and education maintaining high quality nursing care within a safe environment

  • Develop and utilise strategies that encourage an atmosphere conductive to effective communication.

  • Be proactive in your contribution to Quality Improvement, service development and patient safety initiatives in the clinic.

The Sydney Clinic is a 44 bed Private Mental Health and Addictions facility located in the Eastern Suburbs and within easy access to Bondi Junction and Bronte Beach. The Sydney Clinic offers a friendly and supportive staff environment with a strong commitment to the provision of excellence in the delivery of care to our customers

Selection Criteria


  • Current Registration with AHPRA

  • A demonstrated interest in the field of mental health addiction disorders evidenced by specialisation in the field, substantial experience, or postgraduate qualifications or Continual Professional Development

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

  • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development

  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills


  • Post graduate qualifications in mental health or addiction disorders

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2015 – 2019, a salary ranging from $33.08 - $46.45 per hour.
