Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Human Resources Business Advisor (HRBA) Team is looking for a highly motivated Human Resources Business Advisor Senior Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide HR strategic support to maximize business outcomes and team member engagement for Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) Corporate Resource and Digital, Transformation and Mobility pillars.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRBA, the person in this role will support the Human Resources Department's objective to provide interpretation, support, and guidance to TMNA management and team members regarding organization and human resources policies and guidelines. The person in this role will also develop effective countermeasures to critical and urgent business problems utilizing talent solutions and processes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborate with functional leaders and build effective relationships with functional groups

  • Respond to inquiries related to HR policies and procedures, including compensation and benefits, policy consultation, and talent development

  • Manage problem resolution process issues and drive positive outcomes

  • Partner with business units to maintain positive employee relations, effective team member communications, and implementation of HR programs and policies

  • Support performance management processes and team member relations concerns including involuntary terminations

  • Ensure staffing and Workday data is accurate and updated to reflect staffing plans

  • Work with and maintain confidential information

  • Occasional travel to functional areas throughout the US

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience in Human Resources

  • Demonstrated human resources generalist experience

  • Understanding of compensation matters including internal salary administration, job evaluation, annual merit programs, and salary range adjustments

  • Experience with participating in Human Resources/Employee Relations investigations

  • Knowledge of HR policies and employment law

  • Excellent partnership skills

  • Effective problem-solving skills and resolving conflicts

  • Experience managing projects

  • Experience in supporting a geographically dispersed, corporate enterprise organization

  • Strong internal and external customer focus, proven ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including but not limited to: written and verbal communication, relationship-building and collaboration, listening, persuasiveness

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Workday HRIS
