Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct reviews of SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding policies and guidelines
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant inputs for policy reviews
  • Undertake research on funding for Continuing Education and Training (CET), such as identifying cost trends and establishing cost norms for benchmarking
  • Prepare responses to enquiries and feedback from internal and external stakeholders on SSG’s funding policies
  • Evaluate budget requests for programmes
  • Serve as secretariat for platforms involving key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification 
  • Up to 3 years of relevant work experience in Public Sector for Manager; 3 - 7 years of relevant work experience in Public Sector for Senior Manager
  • To perform well in this job, you should possess the following:
    • Good understanding of budget planning and policy formulation/review
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals/ teams
    • Ability to think critically and strategically
    • Effective written and oral communication skills
    • Effective presentation skills
