Job Description

The Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for validating the
manufacturing and test processes at internal and external sites and
participating in the hands-on development or oversight/review of all PCBA
(SMT), Mechanical builds, test, and pack-out (FATP) activities.

The MTE in this role must have an understanding of hardware design, SMT/FATP
manufacturing processes and test methodology. This position is responsible for
all aspects of product build and test through all stages in the product
lifecycle: providing DFx feedback during product design, identifying and
reporting production process issues, identifying and resolving issues during
development, and carrying through continuous improvement and product
maintenance activities during production and ramp down at EOL.

The candidate will be responsible for the ownership, monitoring, maintenance,
support, and evolution of Epiphan s deployed fleet of manufacturing test
fixtures at sites around the world.

The candidate must have a strong background in python coding under linux, and a
demonstrated aptitude for meaningfully organizing and monitoring status and
statistics on a large number of deployed systems.

As owner of manufacturing test, you will compile regular statistics regarding
fleet test operations, health, and maintenance, and report them regularly to
the management team.

* Development, documentation, qualification, and implementation of test
fixtures (hardware and software) and testing procedures definition
including training, build out and provisioning of test stations to ship
to remote sites
* Dockerizing codebase installs and unifying hardware and test deployment
across the product line for ease of maintenance
* Availability for support of line interruptions due to test blockers
during APAC working hours
* Development of a realtime database dashboard of the current fleet, as
well as developing a plan for tracking and following through on software
and physical upgrades of test appliances at remote manufacturing sites
* Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration
* Create and maintain manufacturing test bill of materials in Arena PLM
* Implement Continuous Process Improvement projects
* Manage engineering changes and qualification
* During NPI stages and MP, provides on-site support to our internal team
and manufacturing partners
* Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
* At least 5 years of experience in discrete manufacturing environment,
preferably in IT or Medical Device industries, held accountable for
manufacturing yield targets, line stoppage avoidance, etc., for a few
product lines
* Strong command of python under linux; additional programming languages
and skills such as Visual , C/C++, , Labview and
* Knowledge of XML, HTML, Java Script, MS SQL Server, MS Access and VBA
* Experience with docker, database deployments on AWS
* Good understanding of electrical drawings and schematics
* Good Knowledge of Electrical and Electronic Components, including In-
Circuit and Functional Testing of PCBA
* Knowledge in ISO requirements, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma and 5S
* Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and leadership
* Excellent organization, planning and time management skill
* Able to work under pressure and to strict datelines
* Experience in Bill-Of-Material creation and maintenance
* New Product Introduction and Product Transfer experience
