Service Advisor - Vermeer
We are searching for a customer-focused, excellent communicator to join our growing team as a Service Advisor in at Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC. This role is the center of communications for all repair activities and acts as a liaison between customers and the service department. Acting as the primary point-of-contact for all heavy equipment service matters, they must thoroughly understand the customer's problems to set and manage expectations and provide world-class service.

Provide administrative and managerial support to the service department
Schedule appointments and generate estimates for customers
Advise customers on the appropriate maintenance required to their equipment based on manufacturer?s specifications
Document repair and service orders in the correct fashion
Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities.
Establish and maintain a strong and positive working relationship with customers to encourage customer retention and referral business
Follow up with progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick up time

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Days and hours of work are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver?s License
Service Writing experience preferred, heavy equipment knowledge a plus!
Must have excellent customer service skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
