Treasury Solution Specialist, Northern Ontario

What is the opportunity?

You will develop and deliver on business priorities and improving the Client
Experience through execution of sales plans to acquire new Treasury Solutions
clients and recommend appropriate additional Treasury Services to existing
clients within assigned market territory; provide focused financial advice and
solutions to meet the clients business and financial goals.

You will partner with Commercial Financial Services (CFS) team and other
colleagues across RBC Financial Group to drive client loyalty and build long-
term profitable client relationships.

What will you do?
* Put clients first. Excel in responding to requests quickly and reliably
and ensure smooth operation of banking products and services.
* Deliver financial and business Insight advice through a
differentiated value proposition. Present solutions that clearly
articulate the benefits and advantages to the client. Help the client to
understand alternatives, navigate and implement proposed solutions.
Identify opportunities and refer clients to RBC Partners to meet the
client s broader advice needs.
* Educate the client with new or emerging issues that will impact their
business by providing the client with unique, valuable insights on the
client s industry, business or market.
* Understand the client s financial situation, leverage insight from RB
colleagues to ensure respect for client s time and demonstrate intere
in the client s business as part of your pre-contact planning review
for all client calls/meetings.
* Take responsibility of client problems at first point of contact engaging
appropriate partners to effectively resolve the problems.
* Subscribe to a professional service standard for responding to clients
and colleagues, returning voice mail and email and use business etiquette
in your communications, including outbound voicemail message, and
electronic correspondence.
* As part of the CFS Relationship Team, works with colleagues to execute a
coordinated client contact strategy as guided by the CAM (Commercial
Account Manager)

What do you need to succeed?

* 3+ years of financial services background including presenting,
negotiating and closing deals.
* Strong client focus, highly organized, and the ability to incorporate
sales disciplines into day-to-day activities and routines.
* Proven ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast paced environment as
this is an intense high volume transaction sales role requiring above
average organizational skills and a proven capacity for coping with
incoming and ongoing call/email volumes.
* Willingness to learn new skills while building partnerships with
stakeholders and fostering team work.
* Execute individual sales activity plan, reviewing results to plan for
discussion at monthly/quarterly intervals and adjust activities as
required to achieve plan
* Develop insight-based sales strategies with input from appropriate RBC
Partners for all clients and prospects in order to increase revenue,
client profitability and client loyalty.
* Excellent verbal communication skills; notably the ability to illustrate
with words the impact of the recommended solutions on the client s
business operation(s) relationships.

* Subscribe to a professional service standard for responding to clients
and colleagues using business etiquette in your communications.
* Actively network to build both internal and external networks to
capitalize on business opportunities and referrals. Develop expertise in
assigned industry segment as appropriate.
