You will be responsible for creating data-driven, user-focused content strategy and design. You'll be an embedded member of a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and highly iterative product team, while enjoying the support and community of a growing UX Content Design group. Our embedded partnership allows our Content Designers to have tremendous impact and autonomy as they solve problems that help the business grow.

The kind of Content Designer we’re looking for will care equally about creating a great customer experience and generating business impact, and will be creative and enthusiastic about achieving both. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, product designers, UX researchers, product analysts, product marketers, developers, and localization experts to design user-focused content for the teams under the Growth Product Group. As part of these teams, you will be responsible for demonstrating and delivering a scalable, data-driven, and collaborative approach to content design.

The Growth Product Group expands the value and customer base across HubSpot Product through rapid-form data experimentation. This complex discipline impacts all areas of the HubSpot product and explores the journey of our freemium and Starter users through acquisition, monetization, and product onboarding, as well as broad strategic vision. Growth’s mission is to identify the highest-impact opportunities, turn them into compelling customer experiences, test them through experimentation, and build on the best of them.

  In this role, you’ll get to: Design and deliver experiences that help our customers and our business grow 

Collaborate across teams and disciplines to create a product-wide content strategy around user acquisition, e-commerce, product comprehension, and onboarding Independently experiment with and test content that’s supportive of a growing, global user base  Integrate and advocate for global-first practices, accessibility, and inclusive principles in every design

Contribute to and expand upon the HubSpot Canvas design system, as well as the HubSpot Style Guide Help develop the skills of other members of the UX Content Design group and the UX Design team  Expand and promote a style of content design that’s iterative, based on quantitative and qualitative data, and focused on users’ needs, values, and growth

We are looking for people who: Drive large, comprehensive projects and understand how they will advance a company-wide strategy Formulate, experiment with, and advocate for content design that improves both usability and business metrics

Understand how to gather and interpret complex data and use it to create successful content Excel at leading productive discussions Have healthy interpersonal problem-solving skills

Demonstrate a history of designing compelling product content, as well as developing the strategy behind it Are comfortable testing content, iterating, and reporting out on results Help us grow and nurture a world-class Content Design and Growth practice

Enjoy building trust with customers, collaborators, and cross-functional teams Experience with experimentation, data analytics, onboarding and acquisition is a plus HubSpot’s Growth UX team thrives on:
