Description
The VP of Strategy and Innovation is responsible for defining and enabling the POLs/GOLs Strategic vision to include “where we play; how we win” across partners, programs and products. This leader will serve as the expert guide serve to the GOL/POLS leadership on market research, product strategy, deal approval and learning experience/academic strategy and serve as the identifier of future needs and opportunities to ensure GOL continues to drive a strong innovation agenda.
General Responsibilities
Work with GOLS/POLS leaders to define clear strategic portfolio & product priorities and actionable roadmaps to deliver relevant and highly valuable products to consumers
Provide a common, data informed view of the market to inform partner, program and product innovation and growth
Establish & integrate a PSON informed learning experience best practices into partners, programs & products
Liaise with NA Marketing to set priorities, and execute marketing campaigns
Collaborate with business development to create business development plans that meet revenue and profit strategy for POLS
Lead the design and development of innovative learning experiences for POLS
Support the delivery of faster, more data-driven innovation across POLS
Collaborates with finance and academic partnerships to ensure that the POLS portfolio meets the requirements for sustainable growth
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Leads product strategy, market research, deal desk and learning experience/academic strategy teams within GOL.

Qualifications
Candidate Characteristics:
Collaborative leader with stellar stakeholder management skills
Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems in cross-functional teams
Demonstrated commitment to building and supporting diverse teams
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
10 years of experience leading strategy and research teams in large, distributed, and geographically diverse organizations.
